How to run it

  1. 1

    Both players dribble their own ball in a confined area (the lane).

  2. 2

    While protecting your ball, try to knock your partner's ball loose with your free hand.

  3. 3

    First to lose their ball 3 times loses the round; play best of 5.

Coaching points

  • Dribble low and protected; chin the ball with your off arm.
  • Keep your eyes up to attack and defend simultaneously.
  • Stay balanced — a wide stance protects and powers the swipe.
