Coaching points

- Don't change the release; just add more leg.
- Range is only useful if the form holds — no heaving.

Why it works
Range is space, and space is offense. The nugget: a shooter who can hit from NBA range can't be sagged off, which opens driving lanes for the whole team. In a game, the defense has to guard you from 4 feet further out, which stretches the defense and creates gaps everywhere. A kid who expands their range becomes a spacing weapon that makes every teammate's job easier.
